Memento Mori

Its literal latin definition translates to "remember that you have to die." Our interpretation to this phrase is to remind others to not get attached to material possessions or lifestyles. At the end of the day, we can't take anything with us when we go and sometimes we need that reminder. For that reason, we've attached the following complimentary phrase on our pieces as well:

Remember to live. It should go without saying but people tend to get so caught up with their lives at work, at school or personal issues that they forget to live for themselves. Enjoy everything around you - the people, your surroundings, family and so on. We shouldn't live our lives by clocking in/out of a job and paying bills. Take a step back, work hard for what's yours and enjoy what's in front of you. We only have one life - don't just live it, enjoy it.

This piece features an obvious visual representation and reminder of death with a half skull taking over the center panel of the jacket. Written on the side of the skull is the phrase "Memento Mori" itself along with our signature "Work Fucking Harder" motto on the right sleeve.

Each Memento Mori tee features a custom "spider tie-dye" technique. This design combines bright colors with  darker dye in order to create a design that resembles long spider legs. 

Screen printed on the tee is our Memento Mori daisy design. This design illustrates the beauty of life and death. Half of the daisy is distressed, dull - almost faded and rotting which symbolizes death. The other half, bright, perfect and full of life.
